Senate approves 20th amendment

The Senate approved a constitutional amendment during its 20 about 20 Monday.The amendment will become part of the Constitution after it was signed by President Asif Ali Zardari.The bill received 74 votes in its favor while delivering only 2 votes against everyone and it has been the bill passed unanimously by Assembly.Earlier national government and the opposition to reach an agreement on the amendment 20 in the Constitution prior to its submission in the Senate by the Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani approval.Prime in a speech after 20 constitutional amendment, and congratulated the members of parliament, he will be write the names of those who agreed to the bill in history.He said the 1973 Constitution guarantees the security of the country and in the next general election will be free, fair and transparent.
