The sources said had been arrested by Tauqeer Sadiq, former president of the Petroleum and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), of Abu Dhabi through Interpol, on Wednesday.Sadek accused Tauqeer corruption up to more than Rs 80 billion, causing great loss to the public treasury.
On December 19, the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the arrest of former President OGRA.
Sadiq was required, which is melting the Pakistan People's Party Secretary General Jehangir Badr, during the past few months but had successfully escaped to Dubai in early October.
