Imran in the intensive care unit urges people to build a "new in Pakistan

LAHORE: Injured Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan has appealed to the people from Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Shaukat Khanum Hospital to build a ‘new Pakistan’ characterized by justice, equality and respect for people.In a video message to the people of Pakistan in an injured condition from the hospital bed of his own built Shaukat Khanum Hospital, Imran Khan exhorted the people to fight for the future of their children.
“Come out and vote for your own self on May 11,” Imran Khan said, adding, ‘do not look at who the PTI’s candidate is, just vote for the party’s ideology’.
He said he gave 17 years of his life and did whatever he could for the country.Imran Khan, who appeared to be suffering from pain and having difficulty in speaking, managed to say that so far the politics of personalities and families have destroyed the country.Referring to a Quranic verse, he said, ‘even Allah Almighty doesn't change the destiny of people until and unless they themselves try to change their circumstances’.
Imran Khan might not be able to run his election campaign anymore as doctors have advised him at least three-week rest for a full recovery from the wounds he received on his back and head after falling off a lifter taking him on to the stage in Lahore where he was to address a rally on Tuesday.PTI leader Asad Umer in a twitter message said that the CT Scan results show that Imran Khan has suffered a minor fracture (on his head) and that he will be fine.
The tweet read: “CT scan results show only a minor fracture. IK will be fine inshallah though he is in a lot of pain.”Dr Faisal from Shaukat Khanum has said that Imran will remain in the hospital overnight.Getting the good news of Imran Khan’s being out of danger, PTI workers and supporters thanked Almighty Allah and cheered outside the hospital.
