PML-N celebrated victory in Dallas and Houston

DALLAS: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) victory in Pakistan's elections was also celebrated in two of big Texas cities of Dallas and Houston with fanfare.A victory celebration was hosted in Houston was hosted by PML-N Texas President Talha Bukhari and was attended by a large number of local Pakistani residents and PML-N office holders, including Zafar Iqbal, Saeed Jameel, Asif Malik, Naseem, Shakeel Firdous, Mr. Ameen alias Munni Bhai, women wing President Mrs. Humayun Khan Burki, and others.Addressing the gathering PML-N Texas President Talha Bukhari said that the landslide victory of the party shows that majority of Pakistanis trust Nawaz Shareef to be the one who can take Pakistan out of current crisis and PML-N is the party which can lead the nation to a prosperous future.
Sweets were passed out to all the attendees during the ceremony.On the other hand in Dallas which is the second big city of Texas, a celebration party was hosted at PML-N's Dallas chapter leader Javed Samuel's residence. A large number of Dallas residents also participated in this celebration. PMLN's Dallas Fort Worth coordinator Siraj Butt and Javed Samuel cut the cake. A sumptuous dinner was also offered to participants of the celebration and special sweets were also provided.PML-N Dallas coordinator Mr. Siraj Butt while addressing the participants said that PML-N's victory is victory of common Pakistani and is a defeat of dictatorial mindset. He said the elected offices at this moment are not a flower bed but a thorny path for our leadership.He said that as Prime Minister hopeful Nawaz Shareef has offered Indian Prime Minister Mun Mohan Singh is a very good gesture and will help paved the path for streamlining relationship. He said the unfortunate interruption which took place in 1999 is over now and the path to welfare will resume from the same point. He said the gesture from Nawaz Shareef is good news.He said the welfare programs and the peace initiatives Nawaz Shareef has with him will pave the way for a better Pakistan. The ceremony ended with a Ghazal program in which Javed Samuel, and Irum Samuel presented songs and Ghazals and a visiting Pakistani singer Mahmood Qasmi also entertained the participants with special songs and Ghazals. The celebration and the party continued till late.
