The concept of "nation" should be strengthened: Munawar Hassan

KARACHI: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Syed MunawarHasan has stressed upon the need to foster the concept of "Ummah."He expressed these views while addressing an annual ceremony of Takmeel-e-Bukhari Sharif at Jamia Hanifia, Saudabad in Malir, said a statement issued on Sunday.Addressing the gathering, JI Chief said that the Ulema should come forward and play their due role in order to change the society according to the teachings of Islam.On the occasion, the JI Chief said that the students who got the degree should play their due role in order to change the society according to the teachings of Islam, as their real test has started from now onwards.Munawer Hasan called upon the students to further extend andincrease their knowledge, as it was the need of the hour.
