Leading scientists, diplomats and activists will come to the Peace
Conference on the Middle East at the University of North Texas (UNT),
"The Middle East:? A new era." The
conference will discuss over two days March 22 to 23 to focus on
political and economic transformations, social and education in the
Middle East after the Brown Arab AC Spring.Jonathan, associate professor
of Islamic studies and understanding Christian Muslim school at
Georgetown University School of Foreign Service, will speak on " Middle East transition: What is the next step? "keynote speaker W. March
23.Joe III "Chip" Pitts, a professor of law at Stanford University and
Shlomo Meir, consul general of Israel in Houston have a major houses
featured on the first day of the conference.Pitts will discuss "Human
Rights in the Middle East in the wake of the Arab Spring." In
addition to teaching in the Faculty of Law at Stanford University, a
former head of Amnesty International in the United States and the
President of the former board of the Bill of Rights Defense Committee, a
non-profit organization and a national task of defending the rule of
law and the rights and freedoms challenged by national security and
counter-terrorism polices.Shlomo discuss "the road map of the Middle East." With
more than 29 years of experience in the Israel Ministry of Foreign
Affairs has been working on several diplomatic missions in various parts
of the world as the head of mission at the Consulate General of Israel
in Boston, New England for four years, in addition to his writings in
other countries.
