JI sit-in demanding re-election in Karachi on bears

KARACHI: The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) protest demonstration against irregularities in election continued on Wednesday.Addressing participants of a sit-in attended by a large number of man and women near Numaish Chowrangi on M A Jinnah Road, JI leaders Muhammad Hussain Mehnti, Assadullah Bhutto and Mirajul Huda Siddiqui demanded of the ECP to carry out repolling in Karachi,Mehnti said that the Jamaat boycotted the election to save the city from bloodshed and to expose Thappa mafia.They also rejected ECP decision to hold re-polling at few polling stations of NA-250 and announced that the JI would continue its protest until their demands were met.
