Karachi: PTI, continue presentations JI against alleged fraud

KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamat-a-Islami (JI) continued its ongoing protest on Thursday here against the alleged rigging during May 11 general elections and reiterated their demand for holding re-elections across Karachi.Jamat-e-Islami boycotted the May 11 elections, hours after the polling went underway. It alleged that massive rigging was being carried out in most of the polling stations across the metropolis and put its entire blame on Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM).Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has also been holding sit-downs on daily basis since May 12 against the alleged rigging of polls. It has also been demanding holding of re-election across Karachi.Earlier, the Election Commission of Pakistan has announced to hold re-polling only on 45 polling stations of NA-250 on May 19.Pakistan Muslim League-F also staged a strike in Sindh for alleged rigging across the interior parts of Sindh.
